Herpa 1/100 USAAF Douglas C-47A Skytrain
This C-47 of the 86th Fighter Group, stationed in Neubiberg in Bavaria, Germany not only hauled over two tons of food, books and toys to Berlin, but also loaded their mascot, Clarence the Camel onto the aircraft for the flight to Berlin to not only deliver the necessary to the children, but also provide some distraction from the hardships during the blockade. For the flight from Wiesbaden, the titles ""Camel Caravan to Berlin"" were painted by hand onto the fuselage.
