The RX-110 Gabthley is a prototype transformable Mobile Suit initially designed by Paptimus Scirocco for mass production and widespread adoption amongst the Titans. Scirocco developed the RX-110 Gabthley from the ground up, creating a unique multi-stage transformable frame. The RX-110 Gabthley performed excellently in its initial tests, with its pilots quickly realizing the Mobile Suit’s unique strengths. Despite showing prowess during the testing phase, the RX-110 Gabthley prototypes would struggle in their encounter with the AEUG’s MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. The RX-110 Gabthley never saw mass production due to its costly design and lackluster performance in its combat debut.

Articulation

The HG Gabthley features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, as this was the first rendition of this Mobile Suit in the HGUC line! This model features double-jointed knees and elbows, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Gabthley is also a transformable model kit with supplemental instructions for deploying the Mobile Suit’s Claw Arms and the complete conversion into Mobile Armor Mode at the back of the manual. Bandai provided an adjustable display stand for posing the HG Gabthley in any of its three forms. This model includes a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help recreate the HG Gabthley’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Gabthley includes the massive Fedayeen Rifle as its primary weapon. This weapon retains its functionality in Mobile Armor Mode and can alternatively function as a Beam Lance for charging targets. The HG Gabthley also sorties with four traditional Beam Saber Hilts stored inside its forearms. Bandai provided builders with two transparent yellow beam effect parts to recreate this equipment’s activation. There are storage brackets for almost all the accessories included with the HG Gabthley hidden underneath the display base.
