Description
The MGB Roadster is a British sports passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1962. Its serial production took place in the years 1962-1980. The car was powered by a single 4-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 1.8 liters. The car was 3.89 meters long with a width of 1.52 meters and a wheelbase of 2.3 meters. The car was produced in Great Britain and Australia. The MGB Roadster model was developed and put into production as a successor to the MGA model offered by the British Motor Corporation. Compared to its predecessor, it had a changed body style, and was also powered by a different power unit. First of all, it had a self-supporting body, which at the beginning of the 1960s was a technological novelty, which differed not only from its predecessor, but also from its market rival - the Triumph TR. The MGB Roadster, as the name suggests, was offered primarily as a 2-door roadster.
