Description
Shinden is Japan's first canard fighter developed for intercepting heavy bombers.
With this method, the internal space of the fuselage can be used effectively and the fuselage dimensions can be reduced.
Since the front wing can generate lift, the main wing is also small, so it is extremely effective in terms of body weight and resistance, and has many advantages in the development of high-speed fighters.
Another major feature is the ability to centrally equip the nose with large caliber machine guns.
Although Shinden had high expectations, it was not in time for the actual battle, and the war ended when the first prototype flew three times for 45 minutes.
