For more than two decades, the “Triple Seven” has been the flagship of Austrian Airlines. With the delivery of the first 787 Dreamliners planned for 2024, the airline will in parallel begin to phase out its long-distance twinjet. Delivered as the first 777 back in 2005, the aircraft named for the famous Hollywood classic “Sound of Music” is currently one of just two aircraft of the type repainted into the latest livery of Austria’s flag carrier.
