Description
Founded in 1998, the Qualiflyer Group was a short-lived airline alliance with a joint frequent flyer program, which, among others, included Swissair, TAP Portugal, Austrian Airlines, Sabena from Belgium and AOM of France. However, with the bankruptcy of Swissair in 2002, the group dissolved after a short time. Some aircraft received a special coat of paint with a blue belly and Qualiflyer logo to promote the alliance. The "Graubünden" was one of two MD-11 trijets at Swissair, which were painted accordingly.
