The Dutch Air Force's flight training center is located at the Woensdrecht Air Force Base. The 131st squadron with its 13 Pilatus PC-7 is tasked with the basic aeronautical training of all future Air Force pilots. The Swiss PC-7 was first delivered in 1978 and has been procured by more than twenty air forces worldwide. Over 600 copies have been produced so far.
