Description
The Junkers F13 was the world's first all-metal aircraft, which was designed specifically for air transportation. Between 1922 and 1925, the Polish Airline "Aerolloyd" S.A. purchased 12 aircraft of this type, and in the following years "Aerolot" expanded its fleet by an additional four aircraft. This 4-seat aircraft flew with a maximum speed of 170 km/h and had a range of 600-700 kilometers. In the early 1930s, these aircraft were still active with Aerolot’s successor, LOT Polish Airlines, proof of their robust and reliable design.
