The presented modeling tools have cross-sections: flat, round, semicircular, triangular and square. The presented files can be used primarily for processing soft plastics (e.g. polystyrene). With some reservations and with an appropriate dose of skills, they will also prove useful when processing dried putty or other modeling compounds, as well as soft wood species (e.g. balsa). Due to their small size, they will be especially useful for processing small surfaces and modeling details. They can be successfully used when working with, for example, aircraft models, combat vehicles, ships and ships of any scale. They will also prove useful when processing figures - for example, in a scale of 1:35 and 1:72 and a size of 54 mm. Files with a semi-circular and circular cross-section allow for grinding rounded surfaces, as well as for enlarging the holes in a model of this shape. It can be successfully used in plastic and wooden modeling, as well as in the construction of dioramas.
