Description
The mass production project dates back to 1945. The CITROËN DS 19 was unveiled at the 42nd Paris Motor Show on October 6, 1955. New materials-plastic and light alloy-and new technologies-hydropneumatic suspension for four independent wheels-were combined with a design that divided France into two camps: one "for" and the other "against."
