Description
The Porsche 928 was unveiled in Geneva in March 1977. It was intended to replace the 911, inheriting "all the qualities and performance of previous Porsches" while simultaneously meeting all conceivable future government requirements. In the United States, which accounted for approximately fifty percent of total Porsche production, sales of the 928 began in 1978.
