Other brands such as Star Jets, InFlight 500, Blue Box, and JC Wings have produced models in 1/500 scale, but these are more rare and Herpa Model continues to be the most popular and long lasting manufacturer in this scale. Airliner models in 1:500 scale are general from 2 to 6" long depending on the aircraft being represented. Diecast metal airplane in 1:500 scale, printed (not decaled), in meticulous detail.
