Description
In 1939, the SOMUA S-35 was considered the best French tank - at the time, it was superior in many respects to all foreign tanks of the same category, including German tanks. In the spring of 1940, the S-35s suffered a frontal assault and were almost completely destroyed or captured by German forces.
