About this product
EGGPLANE TBF/TBM AVENGER
Tested just before the outbreak of WWII, the TBF Avenger was first deployed during the Battle of Midway in 1942. The Avenger was the heaviest single-engine aircraft of its time, and it was also the first to feature a compound wing folding mechanism, which helped maximize space on aircraft carriers. Sturdy and reliable, it was later adapted for use as a transport, trainer and bomber in civilian service. Kit features an egg-plane version of the TBF/TBM Avenger with two sets of decals.
Decal Options:
- TBF-1C: U.S. Navy USS Mission Bay Code: E16
- TBM-1C: U.S. Navy VC-42 Code: 21
Parts come moulded in blue plastic with clear for the canopy.
The kit comes with realistic rubber tires, transparent parts for windows and lights shields, and some sliver chrome plated light bucket and other parts, and a waterslide decal sheet for interior and detail.
This is a model kit that needs to be assembled and painted.
Paint and glue are not included and need to purchase separately.
Customize your kit and take your creation to another level with our selection of paint sets.
