HG 1/144 Bushido's Ahead

Discover one of the most recognisable customised Mobile Suits from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 with the GNX-704T/AC Mr Bushido’s Ahead, brought to you by Bandai Spirits as part of the High Grade (HG) range in 1/144 scale. Also known as the Ahead Sakigake, this model stands out for its dark red livery, its imposing silhouette and its equipment, specially adapted to the close-quarters combat style of its pilot, Mr Bushido.

Derived from the standard GNX-704T Ahead used by the A-Laws, this customised version features several aesthetic modifications that directly evoke the world of the samurai. Its distinctive head, the shape of its armour and its arsenal—primarily geared towards close-quarters combat—reflect the constant quest for duels that characterises its pilot in the second season of the series.

The kit features polycap joints, allowing for a variety of combat poses. Its arsenal includes, in particular, a GN Beam Saber, a GN Short Beam Saber, a GN Shield, as well as the weaponry integrated into the Mobile Suit. The sabre hilts can be removed from their mountings and placed in the model’s hands, offering several display options.

The various parts are colour-moulded and use the snap-fit assembly system characteristic of Bandai Gunpla. No glue is required for assembly, and painting is optional. A sheet of metallic stickers is provided to add finishing touches and highlight the Mobile Suit’s colour variations.
