The B-29 Superfortress was a four-engine heavy bomber, one of the largest aircraft used during World War II. It was advanced for its time, with remote-controlled machine gun turrets and pressurized cabins that allowed high altitude flight. This model is a replica of the B-29 known as “T Square 54”, which flew 37 bombing missions from the Mariana Islands in World War II. It is now on display at Seattle's Museum of Flight.
