1/200 CAL Fire Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or CAL Fire for short, operates its own fleet of helicopters and airplanes. To further improve its fire fighting capabilities from the air, seven C-130 Hercules are currently being overhauled and re-equipped to carry more than 18,000 liters of extinguishing agent. The Hercules will be added to the rest of the fleet and deployed flexibly on California's 13 air bases in order to be able to reach possible fires in all corners of the state within just 20 minutes.
