1/200 Maersk Air Fokker 50

When looking for a replacement for their Dash 7 fleet (also released in the 1/200 scale: item no. 572637), Denmark’s Maersk Air again turned to Fokker: When commencing operations, the Fokker 27 had been the main workhorse for the airline. The first of nine new Fokker 50s, the heavily modernized successor to the F27 Friendship, were put into service in 1988 both on domestic routes, but also to international destinations across Northern and Central Europe. These were operated in the unique light blue livery until being replaced by CRJ-200 jets in the year 2000.
