One of the three special liveried “Flying Honu” A380’s intended to be operated between Tokyo, Narita, and Hawaii, this is the second aircraft that went into service in late 2019.
The Hawaiian word “honu” is a term of endearment used towards the native sea turtle, and reflects the widespread love that the Hawaiian people feel for this animal. It is believed to be a sacred creature in Hawaii, and those who manage to catch a glimpse of one are said to be blessed with good fortune and prosperity.
This model airplane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, NG Models and Aviation400.
