Description
Hasegawa 1/48 [the Magnificent Kotobuki] Interceptor Fighter Shinden Isao
The Kyushu J7W Shinden is a Japanese, single-engine, experimental, metal-structure duck interceptor from the end of World War II. Although the work on the duck-shaped planes started in 1942, the flight of the prototype took place only on August 3, 1945. The last two test flights took place in the last days of the war and the prototype was only 45 minutes long. flight. The propulsion was a Mitsubishi Ha-43-41 engine with a capacity of 2030KM moving the push blade, which unfortunately caused too much vibration and made maneuvers difficult during test flights. Accordingly, a version of the J7W2 Shinden-Kai was developed, which was planned to be equipped with a turbojet engine. This version never got past the design stage.
