1/72 F4U-1D CORSAIR

An unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an F4U-1D Corsair carrier-based fighter. 1D Variant had new engines, permanent rockets payload as well as twin pylons for bombs or drop tanks. It also adopted the single-piece “blown” clear-view canopy that followed all the later F4 variants developed. Was introduced in April 1944.
