Unlike the Type J, which was a refurbishment of the Type F used for space, this was redesigned to be a land battle type. It has incorporated specs that meet the needs of ground activities, such as leg mechanisms, and allows pilots to board and disembark. In terms of armaments, the Zaku Bazooka has been modified into a magazine type and equipped with anti-personnel weapons, and details have been changed to meet the Earth environment.
